5/8" bronze bushing used in all SnoWizard
® machines built prior to 1983 that use thrust bearings. There are 2 of these bushings in the cylinder and
they have internal grooves to hold grease. The grease should be cleaned out every 2 weeks and replaced with fresh grease. The cold-rolled shaft spins
inside of these bushings and the bushings will wear over time and need to be replaced. Usually every 3 years depending how often they are greased.
These bushings are not "press to fit" which means that they must be reamed to 5/8" after they have been inserted in the cylinder.
